VisaBot is independent of VFS Global, the Embassy of Latvia and any government body. Finding the date, and booking it on AutoBooking, is VisaBot's job; granting or refusing the visa is the Embassy's alone.
Short-stay Latvia visa applications from the UK are lodged with VFS Global, which takes them by online appointment in London, Edinburgh and Manchester for the Embassy of Latvia in London. VisaBot follows the VFS calendar for your centre and category: Notifications alerts you to a new Latvia date, and AutoBooking books it in your applicants' names. The Embassy decides on every visa.

Signed up with VisaBot after I couldnโt book an appointment at vfs London. Took VisaBot just over a week. Fantastic service ๐
Get instant email or push notifications when new appointments open up or get a slot auto-booked for you.

In December 2025, VFS Global said Latvia appointments are booked solely online and its helpline can't book for you or see when slots will appear. Both VisaBot plans run at all three Latvia centres.
Centre and category
In London the category is Short Stay; in Edinburgh and Manchester, Tourism or Business.
The bot watches VFS
VisaBot keeps checking the VFS Global calendar for that pairing and spots new Latvia dates as VFS releases them.
Alert or automatic booking
Notifications sends a push, with optional e-mail, and you book on the VFS site; AutoBooking books a fitting date for up to five applicants.
You attend the centre
You bring your documents and pay the fees at the centre; the Embassy of Latvia in London decides.
No Latvia appointment exists until VFS Global releases it: VisaBot can't make extra dates, know release times in advance or speed up the Embassy.
VFS Global runs a Latvia Visa Application Centre in each city for the Embassy of Latvia in London, which covers residents of the UK, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
Latvia Visa Application Centre, 66 Wilson Street, London EC2A 2BT. Takes applications under Short Stay and hands passports back after the decision.
Latvia Visa Application Centre, 1 Rennie's Isle, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 6QT. Takes applications under Tourism or Business; VFS notes the centre has no car park.
Latvia Visa Application Centre, 50 Devonshire Street North, Manchester M12 6JH. Takes applications under Tourism or Business and sends them on to London.
Pick the centre you can reach on the day: one Embassy decides for all three. Allow two extra days in Edinburgh or Manchester, as VFS routes their files through London.
Category names in the VFS booking system depend on the centre, and VisaBot follows the one you set.
Short Stay (London)Tourism (Edinburgh, Manchester)Business (Edinburgh, Manchester)Count every traveller
Notifications covers your whole group in one subscription; AutoBooking books up to five applicants together at any of the three centres.
Set a range with a margin
End the range at least 15 days before travel, the latest VFS accepts an application; allow two days more in Edinburgh or Manchester.
Nothing to upload
AutoBooking needs no passport photo, selfie or liveness check to book a Latvia date.
Leave the VFS code to support
The VFS one-time login code goes to VisaBot's system mailbox; ask support for it before logging in yourself, as it lasts 3โ5 minutes.
Payment comes in two steps
On VFS routes, AutoBooking takes a prepayment per applicant at sign-up, covering the centre's booking fee, and the balance once a date is booked.
VFS Global releases Latvia dates on no known pattern and not every day, so a first alert can take several days. AutoBooking also skips dates that don't suit your group size or range, which can stretch the wait.
A booked appointment is not a visa: the Embassy of Latvia usually decides within 15 calendar days of the application, up to 45 in individual cases, plus two days for files lodged in Edinburgh or Manchester.
Applications are accepted from six months to 15 calendar days before the trip; nationals covered by Latvia's Cabinet Regulation No. 554 should allow up to 45 days.
Each subscription lasts 30 days and does not renew itself; adding a second centre widens a quiet search.

Comprehensive route coverage across major countries and for most visa types.

Global presence across 50+ locations, making visa booking convenient anywhere.

Trusted payment processing with full encryption and buyer protection.

Dedicated customer service ready to help with any visa appointment questions.
Family members of EU, EEA or Swiss citizens travelling with or joining them may qualify for a free, faster procedure; VFS handles it as a separate route with its own conditions.
VisaBot is run by TREVOR PHILIPS LTD, Companies House number 14986978, England and Wales, and has no affiliation with VFS Global, the Embassy of Latvia or any government authority.
Book the centre you can reach easily, since all three pass applications to the same Embassy of Latvia in London. VFS adds two days to processing in Edinburgh and Manchester, whose files travel to London first. Category names differ too: Short Stay in London, Tourism or Business in Edinburgh and Manchester.
The right category depends on the centre. London has one, Short Stay, for trips of up to 90 days in any 180. In Edinburgh and Manchester, choose Business for meetings with an invitation from Latvia and Tourism for holidays or family visits. Work, study or longer stays need a D visa.
Yes, if your trip leaves time to wait for a release. VisaBot keeps checking the empty VFS calendar and alerts you, or books on AutoBooking, when a Latvia date fits. Releases follow no known pattern and VisaBot cannot create dates, so a second subscription for another reachable centre widens the watch.
On Notifications, one subscription covers your whole group: the alert comes to you, and you book everyone at VFS. On AutoBooking, the bot books up to five applicants together at any of the three centres; it is paid per applicant and depends on the centre's fee, so checkout shows your group's total.
You could, but VFS releases Latvia dates without notice, and its contact centre says it can neither book for you nor see when slots will appear. VisaBot checks the calendar constantly and pushes an alert when a date fits, or books it on AutoBooking. You gain reaction time, not extra dates.
VFS will phone you if your nationality is listed in Latvia's Cabinet Regulation No. 554, such as Pakistan, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Egypt or Morocco. Applicants from listed countries attend a separate interview on another day, and the decision can take up to 45 days. VisaBot books the first appointment, not that interview.
No, not the EU family member route: VFS says family members of Latvian nationals apply under the standard category, Short Stay in London or Tourism in Edinburgh and Manchester. Non-EU family of other EU, EEA or Swiss citizens travelling with them may use a free, faster procedure.
Notifications cost from ยฃ35 a month, and one subscription covers every applicant on it. AutoBooking costs from ยฃ100 per applicant; the final amount depends on the visa centre's fee.
