VisaBot is independent and not affiliated with VFS Global, the Embassy of Iceland or any government body. Every visa decision rests with the Icelandic authorities.
Iceland short-stay visa appointments in the UK are booked through VFS Global, at Iceland Visa Application Centres in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff. VisaBot checks those calendars for you: Notifications alerts you when a date opens, and AutoBooking can book it in your name in any of the four cities. The Icelandic authorities decide the visa, normally through the Embassy of Iceland in London.

Signed up with VisaBot after I couldn’t book an appointment at vfs London. Took VisaBot just over a week. Fantastic service 👍
Get instant email or push notifications when new appointments open up or get a slot auto-booked for you.

You set the city and dates
Choose the centre you can reach and, for AutoBooking, a range of acceptable dates if your trip is fixed. The range is optional and priced separately in the app.
The bot watches VFS Global
VisaBot constantly checks the VFS Global Iceland calendar for your city, so you do not have to keep refreshing the booking portal.
Notifications: you book it
When a date appears, you get a push alert in the VisaBot app, with e-mail alerts as an optional extra, and book the date on the VFS Global portal yourself.
AutoBooking: the bot books it
The bot books the date at VFS Global in the applicants' names, for up to five people per subscription, and pays the centre's booking fee from your prepayment.
VisaBot cannot create Iceland dates that VFS Global has not released, and an appointment at the centre is not a visa.
Whichever centre you use, VFS Global forwards the application to the Embassy of Iceland in London.
Iceland Visa Application Centre, 66 Wilson Street, London EC2A 2BT. Submission in person, with fingerprints and a digital photo.
Iceland Visa Application Centre, 50 Devonshire Street North, Manchester M12 6JH. You hand in the application and give biometrics in person.
Iceland Visa Application Centre, 1 Rennie's Isle, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 6QT. Scotland's centre for Iceland submissions and biometrics.
Iceland Visa Application Centre, 19 Newport Road, Cardiff CF24 0AA. Opened in April 2026 for applicants in Wales and surrounding areas.
Pick a centre you can reach at short notice: AutoBooking books a date as soon as one fits your settings, and every applicant must attend in person.
VisaBot watches a category at a centre; on the Iceland route from the UK there is a single short-stay category.
Short Stay VisaLong Term VisaDo the online application
Complete the online application at visa.government.is first: VFS Global staff check its confirmation e-mail at the appointment. VisaBot does not fill it in.
Set a sensible date range
A date range is optional, but one that is too narrow is among the most common reasons AutoBooking cannot book.
Add every applicant at once
VFS Global gives each family member a separate appointment; AutoBooking takes up to five applicants per subscription, paid per applicant.
Leave the OTP to VisaBot
VFS Global login codes go to VisaBot's system e-mail. To log in to the VFS portal yourself, ask support for the code first, as it lasts 3 to 5 minutes.
Pay the balance within 48 hours
After a booking, VisaBot sends a payment link for the balance; if it is unpaid after 48 hours, the appointment is cancelled.
Nobody knows in advance when VFS Global will release new Iceland dates; VisaBot learns about each release as it happens. Dates do not come out every day, so the first alert can take several days, and your city, date range and group size affect how soon a date fits.
The Embassy of Iceland in London calls March to June the peak season, advises applying early and warns that getting a VFS Global appointment can take several days. Applications can be lodged up to six months before travel.
An appointment is not a visa. The embassy normally processes an application within 15 days of receiving it, but in June 2026 VFS Global warned that high volumes meant the 15-day timeframe could not be guaranteed, so leave a margin before your flights.

Comprehensive route coverage across major countries and for most visa types.

Global presence across 50+ locations, making visa booking convenient anywhere.

Trusted payment processing with full encryption and buyer protection.

Dedicated customer service ready to help with any visa appointment questions.
Non-EU family members of EU citizens get simpler rules: any visa they need should be free of charge and issued under an accelerated procedure. VFS Global lists EU Family as its own visa type for Iceland.
VisaBot is a service of TREVOR PHILIPS LTD (England and Wales, company number 14986978) and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for VFS Global, TLScontact, BLS International, the Embassy of Iceland or any government body.
Book at the VFS Global Iceland centre you can reach in person: London, Manchester, Edinburgh or Cardiff. All four forward applications to the Embassy of Iceland in London, so the city changes your journey, not the rules. Cardiff opened in April 2026 for applicants in Wales. VisaBot offers Notifications and AutoBooking in all four cities.
No. VisaBot books one category on the Iceland route from the UK, Short Stay Visa, for trips of up to 90 days for tourism, business or family visits. The purpose of the trip goes on your application form. Iceland's Long Term Visa, meant for residence-permit holders, is not booked through VisaBot.
New Iceland dates appear at VFS Global with no known pattern and not every day, so the calendar can stay empty for a while. The Embassy of Iceland in London names March to June as peak season. VisaBot keeps checking for the whole subscription period, and a realistic date range and a reachable city give AutoBooking more dates to work with.
At VFS Global, yes: each member of a family or group gets an individual appointment. In VisaBot, up to five applicants fit in one AutoBooking subscription, paid per applicant, and the bot looks for a date that suits them all. A Notifications subscription covers everyone in one application.
You can, but VFS Global says its contact centre cannot create bookings or tell you when slots will appear, and new Iceland dates come out with no known pattern. VisaBot checks the calendar constantly and alerts you when a date shows up; on AutoBooking the bot books it too, which helps when you are at work or asleep.
Yes. Iceland uses an online application at visa.government.is, and VFS Global staff ask to see its confirmation e-mail at your appointment. VisaBot books the appointment but does not complete this application, so finish it before the date the bot secures. The full document checklist is on the VFS Global and Icelandic government websites.
Notifications cost from £35 a month, and one subscription covers every applicant on it. AutoBooking costs from £100 per applicant; the final amount depends on the visa centre's fee.
