VisaBot works independently of VFS Global, the Austrian Embassy and any government body, and the Embassy in London alone decides whether an Austria visa is issued.
Austria's UK visa appointments run through VFS Global: you book online, then apply in person in London, Manchester or Edinburgh. VisaBot watches those calendars and alerts you to a new date with Notifications or books it in the applicants' names with AutoBooking. Business, conference and D visa applicants can walk in at VFS London instead. The Austrian Embassy in London decides every application.

Signed up with VisaBot after I couldn’t book an appointment at vfs London. Took VisaBot just over a week. Fantastic service 👍
Get instant email or push notifications when new appointments open up or get a slot auto-booked for you.

Holiday, family-visit, EU family and study applicants need a booked VFS Global appointment, the part VisaBot handles.
Check whether you need a slot
Business, conference and D visa applicants may use VFS London's walk-in sessions; everyone else books.
The bot does the refreshing
VisaBot checks the Austria calendar for your centre and category constantly; the VFS contact centre cannot book for you or say when slots will appear.
Alert or automatic booking
Notifications sends a push alert, with e-mail as an option, and you book. AutoBooking books for up to five applicants in their names.
Payment, then the centre
Once AutoBooking secures a date, pay the balance within 48 hours or the slot is cancelled, then attend in person.
VisaBot cannot add dates VFS Global has not released, takes no part in walk-ins, and has no say in the Embassy's decision.
VFS Global takes Austria applications at three UK addresses and sends them to the Austrian Embassy in London, which books very few appointments itself.
66 Wilson Street, London EC2A 2BT. Every booked category except study, plus the walk-in sessions for business, conference and D visa files.
50 Devonshire Street North, Manchester M12 6JH. Booked appointments, the study and training visa included; no walk-in desk.
1 Rennie's Isle, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 6QT. The same booked categories as Manchester; VFS Global notes there is no car park.
Offered by VisaBot for Tourism and Business, but VFS Global's Austria centre list and the Embassy give no Cardiff address. Check the location in your VFS booking.
Choose a centre every applicant could get to within days: AutoBooking books inside your date range without asking first.
Names follow the VFS booking system; your purpose and host decide which fits.
TourismPrivate (family-friends) VisitBusinessEU/EEA family member (except family members of Austria citizens)Study or professional training visaD visaEnd the range 15 days before travel
Austria accepts applications no later than 15 calendar days before the trip, so leave that gap. The bot books once and cannot swap the date: leave out days you cannot attend.
Put the whole group in one go
Up to five applicants fit in one AutoBooking subscription, paid per person; VFS still gives each one an individual slot.
Complete each passport profile
Booking starts once every applicant's passport and personal details are complete; the Austria booking needs no selfie or photo upload.
No need to forward codes
VFS login codes reach VisaBot's own mailbox. Support shares one if you sign in to VFS yourself; it expires within minutes.
Plan for two payments
A prepayment per applicant at sign-up pays the centre's booking fee; the rest is due once a date is booked.
VFS Global adds Austria dates on no published schedule, and VisaBot cannot predict releases either. Quiet days are normal, so the first alert may take several days; a wider date range and a smaller group help. Paying VFS for premium services does not unlock separate appointments.
Austria counts 15 calendar days twice. You must lodge the application no more than six months and no less than 15 days before the trip, and the Embassy aims to decide within 15 calendar days, stretching to 45 when it needs further checks.
Time to an appointment is not time to a visa: a slot inside those last 15 days is too late, so start early.

Comprehensive route coverage across major countries and for most visa types.

Global presence across 50+ locations, making visa booking convenient anywhere.

Trusted payment processing with full encryption and buyer protection.

Dedicated customer service ready to help with any visa appointment questions.
VisaBot is a trading name of TREVOR PHILIPS LTD, company number 14986978 in England and Wales, with no affiliation to, endorsement by or mandate from VFS Global, TLScontact, BLS International, the Austrian Embassy or any government body.
Choose the VFS Global centre easiest for every applicant to reach: London, Manchester or Edinburgh. All three pass files to the Austrian Embassy in London; London adds walk-ins for business, conference and D visa files. VisaBot lists Cardiff for Tourism and Business, but VFS Global's Austria pages show no Cardiff centre, so confirm it first.
Not necessarily. VFS London accepts Austria business and conference applications without an appointment during set walk-in sessions, if invitation and employment letters show that purpose. Holiday and family-visit files are not accepted as walk-ins, and Manchester and Edinburgh offer no walk-in route. If London's walk-in days do not suit you, book a Business appointment.
Match it to your purpose and host. Tourism covers holidays with your own accommodation; Private (family-friends) Visit means staying with people living in Austria; Business needs an invitation from an Austrian company; EU/EEA family member suits relatives travelling with a non-Austrian EU, EEA or Swiss citizen. VisaBot support can switch a wrong choice.
New Austria dates appear at VFS Global without a published pattern, so a calendar can stay empty for days. VisaBot keeps checking for the full 30 days of a subscription but cannot create dates. A narrow date range, or more applicants than the seats released, is the usual reason a release passes you by.
Yes. On the Austria route one AutoBooking subscription holds up to five applicants, paid per applicant, and the bot books dates that suit the whole group. VFS Global still gives each person a separate appointment, and everyone attends. A Notifications subscription covers every traveller in one application, since you make the bookings yourself.
Because the bot keeps checking when you cannot: VisaBot watches the VFS calendar constantly, tells you the moment a date opens, and with AutoBooking books it while you are at work or asleep. Refreshing yourself also works, since the VFS portal is where new dates show.
Notifications cost from £35 a month, and one subscription covers every applicant on it. AutoBooking costs from £100 per applicant; the final amount depends on the visa centre's fee.
Pick your destination: each page explains where to apply from the UK and what VisaBot can and cannot do on that route.
