VisaBot is independent of VFS Global and the Swedish embassies; for UAE applications, the Regional Migration Hub in Amman makes the Sweden visa decision.
Sweden visa appointments for UAE residents are booked with VFS Global, which takes files at Wafi Mall in Dubai and The Mall, World Trade Centre in Abu Dhabi; the Swedish Embassy in Amman decides the applications. VisaBot watches the Sweden calendar for your centre and category, then alerts you or, on AutoBooking, books a matching date under each traveller’s own name.

Only with the help of the Bot I was able to book an appointment and apply for a visa in Abu Dhabi! Very useful tool with frequent updates if you don't have time to log in and check for a new slot every half an hour!

Centre first, then category
VisaBot follows Dubai for ShortStay and Abu Dhabi for ShortStay, Business, Sports/culture and EU family.
Calendar reads day and night
The bot keeps checking the VFS Global Sweden calendar for your centre and category, so nobody has to refresh it.
Notifications: the booking is yours
A push from the VisaBot app, with email as an extra, flags a new Sweden date; you then book it on the VFS Global site.
AutoBooking inside your dates
Up to five applicants per subscription, booked through VFS Global within a date window of your choice, which is charged extra.
VFS visit, decision in Amman
Each applicant attends the centre; VFS Global then sends passport and file to the hub in Amman, which decides.
VisaBot cannot create Sweden dates VFS Global has not released, move a date already booked or shorten the time a file spends in Amman.
Both VFS Global centres forward Sweden files to Amman; the Embassy of Sweden in Abu Dhabi no longer handles visas.
Wafi Mall, First Floor, Phase 5- Horus, Umm Hurrair 2, Dubai. VisaBot follows the ShortStay calendar here; fingerprints, photo and passport return happen on site.
Level B2 (Lower Ground), The Mall, World Trade Centre, Khalifa Bin Zayed The 1st Street, Abu Dhabi. VisaBot follows ShortStay, Business, Sports/culture and EU family here.
Choose the centre every traveller can reach on the day; for business, sports, culture or EU family trips, pick Abu Dhabi.
One subscription follows one category, and VFS Global staff are not allowed to recommend one, so the trip’s purpose decides.
ShortStayBUSINESSSports/cultureFamily members of EU/EEA citizensThe centre for your category
ShortStay can be watched from Dubai or Abu Dhabi; Business, Sports/culture and EU family from Abu Dhabi. Support changes the category if needed.
Dates that suit the trip
Every Sweden route lets AutoBooking stay within your chosen dates, for an extra charge. Leave about a month between appointment and flight.
Every traveller at once
AutoBooking holds up to five applicants, each with their own passport details and fee; a single Notifications subscription covers the group.
Passport and residence visa
VFS Global wants a passport under ten years old on your return and, for tourist visits, a UAE residence visa valid three months after you leave Schengen.
Codes and two-step payment
VFS login codes reach VisaBot’s mailbox; support shares one if you log in yourself. AutoBooking: prepayment per applicant, the rest after booking.
Every Sweden file goes from Dubai or Abu Dhabi to the Regional Migration Hub at the Swedish Embassy in Amman. The hub needs 15 working days once a file arrives, and with transport both ways VFS Global puts the full cycle, from handing in to collecting the passport, at 25 to 30 days or more.
VFS Global asks for Sweden applications about 30 days before travel and accepts them up to six months ahead; some cases take up to 45 calendar days.
Getting the appointment is a separate wait that comes first. No one, VisaBot included, can predict new Sweden dates from VFS Global; they do not come out daily, so a first alert may take a few days. Each subscription runs 30 days without renewing itself.

Comprehensive route coverage across major countries and for most visa types.

Global presence across 50+ locations, making visa booking convenient anywhere.

Trusted payment processing with full encryption and buyer protection.

Dedicated customer service ready to help with any visa appointment questions.
Relatives of EU or EEA citizens using free-movement rights pay no visa fee; Sweden also waives it for some students, researchers and young non-profit delegates.
VisaBot belongs to TREVOR PHILIPS LTD, incorporated in England and Wales under company number 14986978.
Either centre suits a tourist or family trip; for Business, Sports/culture or EU family travel, VisaBot watches Abu Dhabi. Both VFS Global centres send Sweden files to the Embassy in Amman, so the city affects your trip on the day, not who decides.
Pick the category that matches the trip’s purpose, since VFS Global staff are not allowed to advise you. ShortStay is for tourism and family visits, Business for business trips, Sports/culture for events, and Family members of EU/EEA citizens for relatives using free-movement rights. VisaBot support can switch the category later.
Keep an alert running and start early. VFS Global releases Sweden dates without a published pattern, so VisaBot checks your centre and category day and night and sends a push when a date appears; on AutoBooking it then tries to book one that fits your application. Allow a month after the appointment for Amman.
Up to five applicants with AutoBooking, or a whole application with Notifications. Each AutoBooking traveller is added with their own passport details and paid for separately, partly at sign-up and partly after booking. A date has to fit everyone in the group, so larger groups may wait longer for a match.
You can, but VisaBot does not pause. The bot keeps scanning the VFS Global Sweden calendar, sends a push when a date opens and, on AutoBooking, books for you without waiting for you to log in. No bot can create dates VFS Global has not released; what you gain is constant attention.
Yes, every Sweden route in Dubai and Abu Dhabi lets you set a date range, for an extra charge. The bot then books inside your window and skips anything outside it, and a booked date cannot be swapped later. Keep a month free between the appointment and your flight.
No. Since 2 March 2026 the Swedish Embassy in Abu Dhabi has stopped handling visa and migration matters, which moved to the Swedish Embassy in Amman, the regional migration hub. Sweden appointments are still booked with VFS Global in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, and VFS forwards each file to Amman for the decision.
Notifications cost from 200AED a month, and one subscription covers every applicant on it. AutoBooking costs from 500AED per applicant; the final amount depends on the visa centre's fee.
Pick your destination: each page explains where to apply from the UAE and what VisaBot can and cannot do on that route.
