VisaBot is independent of VFS Global and of Bulgaria's diplomatic missions in the UAE; whether you get the visa is up to the Consulate General of Bulgaria in Dubai.
Short-stay visas for UAE residents are decided by Bulgaria's Consulate General in Dubai, and VFS Global takes the applications at Wafi Mall in Dubai and at The Mall, World Trade Centre in Abu Dhabi. VisaBot watches the Short Stay calendar of the centre you choose: Notifications flags a new date, and AutoBooking books it for each applicant, within your dates if you set a range.

Only with the help of the Bot I was able to book an appointment and apply for a visa in Abu Dhabi! Very useful tool with frequent updates if you don't have time to log in and check for a new slot every half an hour!
Get instant email or push notifications when new appointments open up or get a slot auto-booked for you.

Notifications and AutoBooking both run for Bulgaria in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, on the route's single category, Short Stay.
You set the centre and dates
Choose Dubai or Abu Dhabi. With AutoBooking you can add a date range, and the bot passes over any date outside it.
VisaBot keeps checking VFS
The bot reads your centre's Bulgaria calendar on the VFS Global website without a break, so you can stop refreshing it.
Notifications: you take the date
A new date triggers a push alert in the VisaBot app, plus an email if you add that option, and you book it on the VFS website yourself.
AutoBooking: the bot books it
The bot secures a fitting date for up to five applicants, each in their own name, and receives the VFS login codes itself.
VisaBot cannot make VFS Global release Bulgaria dates, move a booked appointment to a different day or sway the Consulate General's decision.
Both centres take Bulgaria short-stay applications for the same Consulate General in Dubai, so the city you pick changes the journey, not the decision.
Wafi Mall, First Floor, Phase 5 (Horus), Umm Hurrair 2, Dubai. Bulgaria Short Stay applications are lodged here in person with fingerprints, and passports are collected here.
Level B2 (Lower Ground), The Mall, World Trade Centre, Khalifa Bin Zayed The 1st Street, Abu Dhabi. Same Short Stay service as Dubai, for the same consulate.
Pick the centre every applicant can reach on a working day: each attends in person. Each city is a separate route, so watching both takes two subscriptions.
Your purpose changes the documents you bring, not the calendar VisaBot watches.
Short StayLong-term Visa (Type D)Your centre
Dubai or Abu Dhabi. A second centre is a separate Bulgaria route and needs a subscription of its own.
A date range, if dates matter
AutoBooking can keep to dates you set, for an added charge on the prepayment; a tight range leaves the bot fewer dates to take.
Everyone on the trip
Notifications covers the whole application. AutoBooking takes up to five applicants, charged per person, and all of them attend VFS.
Passport data in Latin letters
Names as in the passport, passport number and expiry, nationality, date of birth, address, phone and email for each person.
No photo or selfie at booking
The Bulgaria booking needs no photo upload, selfie or live face check; your printed photo and fingerprints come at the centre.
Login codes handled for you
VFS one-time codes reach the VisaBot mailbox. Signing in to VFS yourself? Ask support for the code, which lasts 3–5 minutes.
Bulgaria dates at the UAE centres follow no known release pattern, and VisaBot learns of each release as it happens. Releases are not daily, so the first alert or booking may take several days, and five applicants or a narrow date range make a fitting date rarer.
Starting early gives the bot more chances: VFS Global takes Bulgaria applications from six months to 15 days before travel and advises booking well ahead.
A booked appointment is not a visa. VFS Global puts the Consulate General's average processing time at 15 calendar days, up to 30 in some cases, and holidays from Eid to the summer months and New Year can stretch it.

Comprehensive route coverage across major countries and for most visa types.

Global presence across 50+ locations, making visa booking convenient anywhere.

Trusted payment processing with full encryption and buyer protection.

Dedicated customer service ready to help with any visa appointment questions.
Under EU free-movement rules, family members of EU and EEA citizens may qualify for a free, faster procedure. Spouses and other family members of Bulgarian or EU citizens may also lodge at the Consulate General in Dubai instead of VFS, after booking by email.
Since 31 March 2024 Bulgaria has issued uniform Schengen visas, which cover the whole Schengen area for stays of up to 90 days within any 180.
VisaBot is operated by TREVOR PHILIPS LTD, registered in England and Wales under company number 14986978.
Either works: both VFS Global centres accept Bulgaria short-stay applications for the same Consulate General in Dubai. Choose the one every applicant can reach on a working day, since everyone attends in person. If both cities suit you, a subscription for each doubles the calendars searched.
Choose Short Stay, the single Bulgaria category in VisaBot's booking form for both centres. Tourists, business travellers and family visitors book it alike, and the purpose is shown on the application form. Stays over 90 days need a type D visa from the Consulate General instead.
Have the calendar watched instead of refreshing it by hand. New Bulgaria dates appear with no known pattern, so a VisaBot subscription checks your centre's Short Stay calendar for 30 days and alerts you, or books the date with AutoBooking. No service can make VFS release dates sooner.
Up to five applicants, each booked in their own name at the same centre. On VFS routes AutoBooking is paid per applicant in two stages: a prepayment for each person at sign-up, used for the centre's booking fee, then the rest after booking. Notifications needs one subscription for the whole group.
The dates are the same official ones; what changes is who watches for them. VisaBot checks your centre's Bulgaria calendar continuously, sends a push alert when a date shows up and, with AutoBooking, books it without you logging in. No hidden dates are unlocked.
Yes. The Bulgaria route lets you set a date range in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and the bot books dates inside it and passes over the rest. The range adds a charge to the prepayment. A booked date cannot be exchanged by the bot, so settle the range first.
Notifications cost from 200AED a month, and one subscription covers every applicant on it. AutoBooking costs from 500AED per applicant; the final amount depends on the visa centre's fee.
Choose Dubai or Abu Dhabi, add every traveller and pick alerts or AutoBooking, on the website or in the iOS and Android app.
