Denmark visa appointment from Türkiye: VFS dates and booking

A traveller smiling at a phone in the city

VisaBot is independent of VFS Global and the Embassy of Denmark: it does not resell or hold appointments, and it has no say in visa decisions.

Denmark visa appointments in Türkiye are booked with VFS Global at centres in Ankara, Antalya, Istanbul and Izmir, and the Embassy of Denmark in Ankara decides every application. VisaBot watches the VFS calendar for the city and category you choose, alerts you when a Denmark date appears and, on AutoBooking, books it in the applicants' names.

A traveller framing a shot with a camera

ApplyVisa first, then the VFS calendar: where VisaBot comes in

A Denmark appointment in Türkiye has two parts: the Danish ApplyVisa form with the visa fee, and a date in the VFS Global calendar. VisaBot works on the calendar part.

  1. 1

    Finish ApplyVisa

Fill in ApplyVisa and pay the visa fee online. VFS Global opens Denmark booking once the form is validated, which can take up to 24 hours.

  2. 2

    Choose city and category

The subscription follows the VFS centre and the Denmark category you pick.

  3. 3

    VisaBot scans the calendar

The bot checks the Denmark calendar at VFS Global constantly and reacts when new dates appear.

  4. 4

    Alert or automatic booking

Notifications send you an alert so you can book yourself; AutoBooking books a matching date in the applicants' names.

  5. 5

    Two-step payment on VFS

AutoBooking on VFS routes is paid as a prepayment per applicant, then the balance after booking.

VisaBot cannot create Denmark dates that VFS Global has not released, and it cannot attend the centre for you.

Where Denmark applicants in Türkiye hand in their documents

VFS Global names Ankara, Antalya, Istanbul and Izmir as its Denmark centres in Türkiye, and applicants attend in person where the date is booked.

Ankara — VFS Global

Regnum Sky Tower, Yazıcıoğlu Cad. No 57/A, İşçi Blokları Mah., 06530 Çankaya, Ankara. The Embassy of Denmark is in the same city.

Antalya — VFS Global

Doğu Garajı AVM, ground floor, Cebesoy Cad. No 75, Çaybaşı Mah., Muratpaşa, Antalya. Files handed in here reach the embassy in Ankara in one to two days.

Istanbul — VFS Global

Ofton Elysium, Hacıahmet Mah., Kurtuluş Deresi Cad. No 29/A, Beyoğlu, Istanbul. The booking system lists this centre as Istanbul Beyoglu.

Izmir — VFS Global

Ege Perla AVM, 1st floor, Ozan Abay Cad. No 8, Çınarlı, Konak, Izmir. Check the address in your VFS appointment confirmation.

Gaziantep — VFS Global

Gaziantep is offered in the booking system for Denmark but is missing from VFS Global's list of Denmark centres in Türkiye, so confirm with VFS Global first.

Pick a centre you can reach at short notice: you hand in your passport and documents in person, and the embassy says applicants enter the centre alone.

Which Denmark category to choose in the booking system

Each of the five Denmark categories in the booking system carries an English and a Turkish name.

Short Stay Others / Diger Kisa Donem
Tourism and other short stays that are not family or business visits.
Short Stay - Family Visits / Kisa Donem - Aile Ziyareti
Visits to family members in Denmark, up to 90 days.
Short Stay - Business Visit / Kisa Donem - Is Seyahati
Meetings, trade fairs and other business trips, up to 90 days.
Residence permit (Work-Family-Study, incl Requests for Biometrics)
Danish residence permits for work, family or study, including biometrics.
Re-entry Permits/ Geri Donus Izinleri
For Danish residence permit holders who need permission to return to Denmark.
  • Booking a short-stay category for a job or studies: work and study in Denmark need a residence permit, not a Schengen visa.
  • Searching for a tourism line: tourist trips are booked under Short Stay Others / Diger Kisa Donem.
  • Leaving out Greenland or the Faroe Islands: name them when you apply, because one application covers the whole trip.

Settings that decide whether a Denmark date can be booked

  1. 1

    A city you can reach

Choose Ankara, Antalya, Istanbul Beyoglu or Izmir by where you can travel at short notice.

  2. 2

    Your date window

Set the dates you can attend; the bot cannot swap a booked date for another one.

  3. 3

    Everyone in the group

AutoBooking takes up to five applicants per subscription, each paid for; one Notifications subscription covers a whole group.

  4. 4

    Your own contact details

Use your own email and phone number in ApplyVisa, because the embassy contacts applicants through them.

  5. 5

    Alerts and one-time codes

Keep alerts on, and before logging in to VFS yourself, ask support for the one-time code, which expires within minutes.

From the first alert to the embassy's decision

VFS Global releases Denmark dates without a fixed pattern, so the first alert may take a few days or longer. The Danish foreign ministry warns that getting an appointment can take several weeks, and the embassy in Ankara says slots are scarce at short notice.

Apply no earlier than six months and, as a rule, no later than 15 days before travel. The embassy usually decides within 15 calendar days, or up to 45 with extra checks, counted from registration at the embassy rather than from the VFS visit.

When AutoBooking books nothing, VFS Global has usually released no Denmark dates that fit the group size or the date window. A subscription lasts 30 days and does not renew by itself.

Family members of EU, EEA or Swiss citizens apply under EU rules. The passport stays with the application until the decision, and the photo must be no older than six months.

Where VisaBot's part in a Denmark application ends

  • VisaBot does not fill in ApplyVisa, check documents or pay the Danish visa fee.
  • VisaBot does not resell or hold appointments: every booking is made in the applicant's name through VFS Global.
  • VisaBot cannot speed up the embassy or influence its decision, and it does not guarantee a Denmark date or a visa.
  • VisaBot does not go to the VFS centre: each applicant attends in person.

VisaBot is a service of TREVOR PHILIPS LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 14986978, and is not affiliated with VFS Global, the Embassy of Denmark or any government body.

Questions about Denmark appointments in Türkiye

Where can I book a Denmark visa appointment in Turkey?

Book with VFS Global, which lists Denmark centres in Ankara, Antalya, Istanbul and Izmir. Complete ApplyVisa and pay the visa fee first, because VFS Global opens Denmark booking once the form is validated. Gaziantep appears in the booking system but not on VFS Global's Denmark list, so check with VFS Global first.

Which category should I choose for a tourist trip to Denmark from Turkey?

Choose Short Stay Others / Diger Kisa Donem, the line for short stays that are not family or business visits. Visits to relatives go under Short Stay - Family Visits, and business trips under Short Stay - Business Visit. VisaBot support can switch the category if you picked the wrong one.

What should I do if there are no Denmark appointments at VFS in Turkey?

Subscribe for your city and category and let VisaBot watch the VFS calendar. Denmark dates appear without a fixed pattern, and the embassy in Ankara says slots are hard to get at short notice, so start early; a wider date window gives the bot more options.

How many people can one Denmark AutoBooking subscription include?

One Denmark AutoBooking subscription can include up to five applicants, each paid for separately. Add everyone travelling together, because the bot needs a date that fits the whole group. With Notifications, one subscription alerts the whole group and you book the date yourself.

Why use VisaBot instead of checking the VFS Denmark calendar myself?

Denmark dates appear without a fixed pattern, so occasional manual checks can miss them. VisaBot scans the calendar constantly, alerts you when a matching date appears and, on AutoBooking, books it in the applicants' names. ApplyVisa, the documents and the centre visit stay with you.

How long does the Danish embassy take after the VFS appointment?

The Embassy of Denmark in Ankara usually decides within 15 calendar days and up to 45 days when extra checks are needed. The time runs from when the embassy registers the application, not from your VFS visit. The embassy has also warned that high volumes can stretch processing beyond 15 days.

How much does VisaBot cost for a Denmark appointment in Turkey?

Notifications cost from ₺1000 a month, and one subscription covers every applicant on it. AutoBooking costs from ₺3200 per applicant; the final amount depends on the visa centre's fee.

Can I get a refund if VisaBot does not book a Denmark date?

Notifications are not refunded once alerts have started. For AutoBooking, the initial fee can be refunded if VisaBot has not booked an appointment for your destination and visa type within a reasonable time frame of no less than 14 calendar days from when your application becomes fully active; up to 10% may be kept to cover administrative costs. The charge paid after a successful booking is not refundable. Full terms: Refund Policy.
