VisaBot is independent of VFS Global, BLS International and the embassies that handle Ghana applications. Every appointment carries the applicant's own name, and the destination's consulate decides on the visa.
Ghanaian citizens and foreign nationals legally resident in Ghana book a Schengen visa appointment with the centre of their main destination. For the countries VisaBot covers, that is VFS Global in Accra, VFS Global in Kumasi for Malta, or BLS International in Accra for Spain. VisaBot watches those calendars, flags new dates and, on VFS Global routes, can book one in your name. The consulate decides on the visa.

Signed up with VisaBot after I couldnβt book an appointment at vfs London. Took VisaBot just over a week. Fantastic service π

Choose city, country, category
Sign up on visabot.eu or in the iOS or Android app, then pick Accra or Kumasi, your destination and the visa category exactly as the centre names it.
The bot scans VFS and BLS
VisaBot keeps scanning the VFS Global calendar for your destination, or the BLS International one for Spain, so nobody has to keep reloading it.
A push alert or a booked date
With Notifications you get a push alert, with email as an option, and book the date yourself. AutoBooking on VFS Global routes books a date that fits every applicant on the plan.
VisaBot follows Schengen calendars in Accra and Kumasi through two operators: VFS Global for most destinations and BLS International for Spain.
Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland, each with both Notifications and AutoBooking.
Spain, with Notifications only: VisaBot flags new BLS International dates in Accra, and you complete the booking on the BLS website yourself.
Malta, with Notifications and AutoBooking. Malta's VFS Global page for Ghana lists a higher service charge for Kumasi than for Accra.
Coverage shifts when visa centres add or drop categories, and the booking form shows the current list. France, Germany and Italy are not on VisaBot's Ghana list, so their appointments get no alerts and no AutoBooking.
Both plans run on the VFS Global routes in Accra and Kumasi; Spain at BLS International has no AutoBooking. The real question is who makes the booking: you or the bot.
| What to compare | Notifications | AutoBooking (VFS Global) |
|---|---|---|
| Who books the date | You book it yourself on the VFS Global or BLS site as soon as the alert reaches your phone. | The bot books it on the VFS Global site, using the passport details of everyone on the plan. |
| Ghana routes | Every destination VisaBot covers from Accra and Kumasi, Spain at BLS International included. | The VFS Global routes in Accra plus Malta in Kumasi; Spain at BLS International is left out. |
| Suits you if | You can book within minutes, with your VFS Global or BLS account already set up. | Work, classes or travel keep you away from your phone when VFS Global puts out new dates. |
| Applicants | One subscription covers all travellers on the same application. | Up to five applicants per subscription on every Ghana route, with the price counted per applicant. |
| What you hand over | The route, the visa category and where the alerts should go. | Passport details for each applicant and, on most routes, an optional date window for an extra charge. |
| Payment and duration | One payment for 30 days; the plan ends without renewing itself. | Two stages on VFS Global: a prepayment per applicant at sign-up, then the balance once a date is booked. |
Kumasi carries VisaBot's Malta route with AutoBooking, so applicants in the Ashanti Region can hold out for a Kumasi date rather than travel to Accra.
The Swiss route in Accra takes up to five applicants per AutoBooking plan, priced per person, and has no date window, so the bot books the first date that fits all four.
List travellers as in passports
Enter up to five travellers with names and passport numbers copied character for character, since VisaBot submits these details to VFS Global when it books.
Pay the first stage
A prepayment for each applicant goes through when you subscribe. VisaBot spends it on the VFS Global booking charge, and the app shows the price breakdown.
Add a date window if offered
Routes such as Austria, Malta and Norway let you set an optional date window for an extra charge, so the bot skips days you cannot attend; the Swiss route has none.
Login codes reach VisaBot
The one-time password from VFS Global lands in VisaBot's own mailbox, not yours. Planning to log in to VFS Global yourself? Ask support first: each code expires within 3β5 minutes.
Booked first, balance next
When a released date has room for your whole group, the bot takes it and sends a payment link. Pay the balance within 48 hours, or the appointment is cancelled.
Attend the centre in person
On the booked day each applicant brings the embassy checklist to the VFS Global centre; on the Dutch route even children under 12 must be present.
Each AutoBooking subscription ends with at most one booked date. If you turn that date down, the bot will not book another, and if no suitable release comes, nothing is booked.
VisaBot cannot know when VFS Global or BLS International will publish new dates in Accra or Kumasi, because releases follow no known pattern. Dates do not appear every day, so several silent days before a first alert are normal, and popular categories draw many applicants to each release. Among the routes VisaBot covers from Ghana, the Netherlands draws the most subscribers, followed by Austria.
Some embassies say openly that Accra appointments fill up early. The Czech Embassy in Accra notes that VFS Global appointments for tourism are typically booked about two months ahead, and about two weeks ahead for other purposes.
A booked appointment is not a visa. Under EU rules a consulate normally decides within 15 days and may take up to 45 days when a file needs closer examination or extra documents. Malta's VFS Global page for Ghana puts its processing time at a minimum of 15 working days.
Applications are accepted no earlier than six months and no later than 15 days before travel. Because a VisaBot subscription lasts 30 days and does not renew, subscribe once your departure falls inside that period, and pick a date window that still leaves room for the consular decision.

Comprehensive route coverage across major countries and for most visa types.

Global presence across 50+ locations, making visa booking convenient anywhere.

Trusted payment processing with full encryption and buyer protection.

Dedicated customer service ready to help with any visa appointment questions.
Family members of EU or EEA citizens covered by the Free Movement Directive can, under certain conditions, use a free and faster visa procedure. In Accra the Czech Embassy takes appointment requests from them by email, and BLS International states that EU family members may go straight to the Spanish consulate.
VisaBot is a service of TREVOR PHILIPS LTD, registered at Companies House in England and Wales under company number 14986978.
You book online with the centre that handles your main destination, and most of them are in Accra. Among the countries VisaBot covers, VFS Global takes appointments for Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland, with a second Malta centre in Kumasi, while BLS International takes Spain.
An empty VFS Global calendar means no bookable date is open in your category when you check. Centres in Accra and Kumasi publish new dates at unannounced times. VisaBot checks the calendar around the clock, alerts you when a matching date appears and, with AutoBooking on VFS Global routes, books it for your group.
Yes, for some countries. Among the routes VisaBot follows, Kumasi serves Malta, with both Notifications and AutoBooking. Italy's embassy also lists a VFS Global centre in Kumasi for Ghanaian citizens, but Italy is outside VisaBot's Ghana coverage. Every other destination VisaBot covers from Ghana is booked in Accra.
No. VisaBot does not follow French, German or Italian appointments from Ghana, so those routes get no alerts and no AutoBooking. Germany's embassy in Accra books through its own online system with a waiting list for short stays, and Italy works through VFS Global in Accra and Kumasi. For these countries, book through the official channel.
No. The Spain route in Ghana runs through BLS International and comes with Notifications as its single plan. VisaBot alerts you when BLS International releases a new date in Accra, and you book it yourself on the BLS website, the channel BLS itself names. Keep every applicant's details ready, because released dates go fast.
Not freely. EU rules send you to the consulate of your main destination: the country where you will spend the longest time or, for stays of equal length, the one you enter first. A subscription should therefore follow your real itinerary. VisaBot watches the route you choose and does not decide where you are entitled to apply.
Yes. A single Notifications subscription covers every traveller on the application, and AutoBooking takes up to five applicants per subscription on each Ghana route, priced per applicant. Each person still needs an appointment of their own, as NetherlandsWorldwide reminds families, so the bot waits for a release with enough places for the whole group.
Notifications cost from $20 a month, and one subscription covers every applicant on it. AutoBooking costs from $80 per applicant; the final amount depends on the visa centre's fee.
Notifications are not refunded once alerts have started. For AutoBooking, the initial fee can be refunded if VisaBot has not booked an appointment for your destination and visa type within a reasonable time frame of no less than 14 calendar days from when your application becomes fully active; up to 10% may be kept to cover administrative costs. The charge paid after a successful booking is not refundable. Full terms: Refund Policy.
