Two rows need a word. Perth carries more routes than Sydney, yet only Sydney and Melbourne reach all nine destinations. And Spring Hill is a separate entry for the same inner-Brisbane centre, used for Austria.

The gap matters more than the list. Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Switzerland and Belgium are not monitored from Australia today — some consulates book directly, so those appointments exist, just not ones VisaBot watches. Inside AutoBooking: one-time codes, centre fees and what happens to your date
When a date surfaces on the VFS Global calendar, the bot starts the booking with the applicant details you entered at subscription and finishes it at the official centre. The appointment is created in your name. VisaBot never holds a date and never resells one.
- Applicant details up front — names and passport data exactly as they appear at the centre, plus the date range you can attend. All 232 Australian routes accept a range, and in a country this size that setting separates a useful booking from a wasted one.
- The one-time code. The centre sends an OTP to the address the booking account was created with, which is VisaBot's system mailbox. Before signing in to the VFS Global site yourself, tell support so they can hand the code across — it expires within minutes.
- The centre's own booking fee. On VFS Global routes, in Australia all of them, AutoBooking is paid in two stages: a prepayment per applicant at subscription, then the balance once a date is secured.
If the booked date does not suit you
You can decline the balance, but the prepayment does not come back — it has gone to the centre as its booking fee — and the bot cannot move you to another day. You would start a new subscription: the argument for a realistic range first time.
If nothing opens at all
The subscription watches for its full 30 days; you are not buying a queue place, because these centres do not run one. Waitlist destinations are supported on both plans. And the question we get most: there is no timetable for when an Australian centre releases dates, we do not publish one, and anyone offering you a schedule is guessing.

How long does an appointment take from Australia, and why we are not giving you a number
We do not publish a median for this market. VisaBot has caught real appointments for Australian applicants, but the sample here is small enough that an average built on it would be noise dressed as a promise. Markets with enough cases — the United Kingdom, Türkiye, Pakistan — get a published figure; Australia does not, yet.

Do I need a Schengen visa to travel to Europe from Australia?
Not on an Australian passport: Australians visit the Schengen area for short stays visa-free, and ETIAS, the authorisation for visa-free nationals, is an online permit rather than a visa — no centre, no appointment, no biometrics. VisaBot is for the other group: people living in Australia on a passport that does require a Schengen visa.

Which Australian cities have Schengen visa centres that VisaBot monitors?
Seven: Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra and Spring Hill, carrying 232 monitored routes. Sydney and Melbourne are the only two reaching all nine destinations; Perth carries the largest number of individual routes.
Which European countries can I book an appointment for from Australia?
Nine are covered today: Estonia, Austria, France, Finland, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Latvia and Slovenia. Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Switzerland and Belgium are not — those bookings run through operators or consulate systems VisaBot does not cover from here.
There is no application centre in my state. Can I apply in another city?
VisaBot monitors no centres in Tasmania, the Northern Territory or regional Australia, so applicants there travel to one of the seven cities above. Jurisdiction can depend on where you live, so confirm it with your destination's consulate and set a date range that allows for a domestic flight.

We do not publish a figure for this market, because the number of appointments booked for Australian applicants is too small for an average to mean anything.
