VisaBot is not linked to VFS Global, UDI or the Norwegian embassy, does not resell or hold appointments, and the decision on a Norway visa rests with Norwegian authorities.
A Norway visa appointment in Ghana is made at the VFS Global centre in Accra, the one place in the country that takes Norway applications, while the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Nairobi decides on them. VisaBot keeps checking the Accra calendar for your category, sends an alert when a date appears and, with AutoBooking, books it in each applicant's name.

Signed up with VisaBot after I couldn’t book an appointment at vfs London. Took VisaBot just over a week. Fantastic service 👍

Paperwork goes through UDI's portal and the Accra centre; VisaBot works on the VFS Global calendar between them.
Online form and fee in UDI
Fill in the Norway visa form and pay the fee in UDI's online portal; the visit to the Accra centre comes after that.
Accra and one category
Pick Tourist, Business, Family and Friends or Long Stay, and the subscription follows the Accra calendar for that category.
The calendar checked for you
VisaBot keeps looking at the VFS Global Norway calendar for Accra, so nobody in the family has to reload the booking page.
An alert or a booked date
Notifications sends a push alert and you book yourself; AutoBooking takes a date inside your window in the applicants' names.
VisaBot cannot add dates to the Accra calendar, and handing in passports, fingerprints and documents stays with each applicant.
VFS Global lists a single Norway centre in Ghana, so applicants from Kumasi, Tamale or Takoradi travel to Accra for the appointment.
Ground Floor, The Grand Oyeeman, South Liberation Link, Airport, Accra. Norway visa and residence permit applications are handed in here, with fingerprints and a photo.
Plan two trips to Accra, for the appointment and for the passport, which returns to the same centre unless you pay VFS Global for delivery to your address.
A subscription follows one category, so a wrong choice means watching dates you cannot use.
TouristBusinessFamily and FriendsLong StayEveryone who travels together
Add each applicant with passport details exactly as printed; one AutoBooking subscription here takes up to five people.
Dates you can attend
Set the first and last days you can be in Accra; the bot books within that range and cannot swap a booked date later.
Payment in two steps
AutoBooking on VFS Global routes takes a prepayment per applicant at sign-up, which pays the centre's booking fee, and the rest after booking.
VFS login codes
VFS Global sends its one-time code to VisaBot's system inbox; ask support before you sign in to VFS yourself, as a code lasts 3–5 minutes.
No selfie or photo upload
Booking in Accra asks for no passport photo, selfie or face check, so accurate passport data is what matters.
VFS Global releases Norway dates for Accra without a published pattern, and VisaBot cannot predict them. New dates do not appear daily, so the first alert can take several days. A subscription runs 30 days and does not renew itself.
An appointment is not a visa. The embassy in Nairobi normally decides within 15 calendar days of receiving the paper file from VFS Global, or within up to 45 days when the case is sent to UDI in Norway.
Because the file travels from Accra to Nairobi, Norway advises applying at least four weeks before departure. Applications are accepted up to six months ahead and, as a rule, no later than 15 days before the trip.

Comprehensive route coverage across major countries and for most visa types.

Global presence across 50+ locations, making visa booking convenient anywhere.

Trusted payment processing with full encryption and buyer protection.

Dedicated customer service ready to help with any visa appointment questions.
Relatives travelling with or joining an EU or EEA citizen in another member state may qualify for a fee-free, faster procedure, which the Nairobi embassy also handles directly.
VisaBot is a service of TREVOR PHILIPS LTD, a company in England and Wales (no. 14986978), with no affiliation to VFS Global, UDI, the Royal Norwegian Embassy or any government body.
Book with VFS Global in Accra, on South Liberation Link near the airport, the one centre in Ghana that takes Norway applications. Applicants from Kumasi, Tamale and other cities travel there for the appointment. Finish the online form and fee in UDI's portal first, since the centre expects the printed application form.
Choose Tourist for a holiday and Business for a trip at the invitation of a Norwegian firm or authority. Family and Friends fits a private visit at the invitation of relatives or friends, and Long Stay covers residence permits for work, studies or family. VisaBot watches the single category you set; support can switch it if plans change.
Subscribe to the Accra calendar for your category, and VisaBot keeps checking it. Notifications sends a push alert so you can book yourself, while AutoBooking takes a date inside your window in the applicants' names. New dates follow no known pattern, so the first alert may take a few days.
Yes. One AutoBooking subscription for Norway in Accra takes up to five applicants, each paid for separately. Add everyone who has to attend together, because the bot looks for a date with room for the whole group. One Notifications subscription also covers all applicants on an application.
VisaBot saves you the refreshing; it does not replace VFS Global. You can book in Accra directly, and the centre also takes walk-ins. VisaBot keeps checking the Norway calendar, alerts you to a date in your category and, with AutoBooking, books it in your name, useful when the dates you find keep missing your plans.
No. The visa section of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Accra closed in July 2025, and the embassy in Nairobi now decides on Norway visas and residence permits from Ghana. Applications are still handed in at VFS Global in Accra, and questions about a file in progress go to VFS Global first.
The embassy in Nairobi normally decides within 15 calendar days of receiving the paper file from VFS Global, or up to 45 days when UDI handles the case. The count starts on arrival in Nairobi rather than on the day of your Accra appointment, so Norway recommends applying at least four weeks before you travel.
Notifications cost from $20 a month, and one subscription covers every applicant on it. AutoBooking costs from $80 per applicant; the final amount depends on the visa centre's fee.
Pick your destination: each page explains where to apply from Ghana and what VisaBot can and cannot do on that route.
