Question 1

How does VisaBot work?

Accepted Answer

VisaBot constantly scans the appointment calendars on visa centre websites. The moment a slot opens up, it sends a push notification so you can book the appointment right away. If you're a customer of our auto-booking service, the bot will book the appointment for you.

Question 2

Which countries does VisaBot support?

Accepted Answer

VisaBot covers most of the Schengen countries, including the most popular countries like France, Italy, Germany and Netherlands. You can always check the up-to-date list of supported countries for your city of application in the app

Question 3

Can VisaBot book a slot for 2/3/4/5 people?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Just add all the applicants to AutoBooking and we'll find a suitable appointment for you and your fellow travellers.

Question 4

How long does it take the bot to auto-book a slot?

Accepted Answer

That depends on the country and the visa type. Please reach out to our support and we'll give you a time estimate.

Question 5

Is VisaBot safe to use?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! VisaBot is a UK-registered business complying with GDPR and other high standards in data protection. Our payments provider, Stripe, is an industry leader and offers the highest level of security.

Question 6

What if there are no appointment slots available?

Accepted Answer

VisaBot works by constantly scanning for new appointment slots. So, even if there are no slots available right now, you will receive a notification as soon as one becomes available. If you're a customer of our auto-booking service, the bot will book an appointment for you even if the website says there are no slots available.

Question 7

Do subscriptions automatically renew?

Accepted Answer

No, subscriptions expire after 30 days and don't automatically renew. You won't be charged the next month.

Question 8

Do you support countries with waitlists for appointments?

Accepted Answer

Yes, both notifications and AutoBooking support applications through waitlist. We always keep our systems updated when visa centers roll out changes.

Question 9

Why is AutoBooking fee higher than the one stated on the website?

Accepted Answer

The final fee depends on the visa application fee we have to pay to the visa center during the booking process. Please consult the price breakdown in the app for details.

Question 10

Why don't you support <country X>?

Accepted Answer

We try to support as many countries as possible in our service, but unfortunately not all of them can be added immediately. We are constantly looking for opportunities to add new countries, so we will try to add as many countries as possible.

Question 11

When are new slots going to be released?

Accepted Answer

There's no known pattern to when new slots are released, we cannot know this in advance. We learn about new slot releases in real-time by monitoring the visa center's website.

Question 12

I subscribed to AutoBooking, but the bot didn't book an appointment for me. Why?

Accepted Answer

There can be multiple reasons for this. The most common ones are that either the visa center does not release new slots appointments or the appointments don't fit your application (number of applicants or data interval). However, keep in mind that it is normal to not receive any updates for some days as the process might take some time.

Question 13

A slot was available — why wasn't I booked?

Accepted Answer

If you're subscribed to a popular visa type, please don’t expect instant booking. It usually takes 1–2 weeks, which is normal due to the limited number of slots and high competition.

Question 14

How does payment for automatic booking work?

Accepted Answer

For VFS: The payment is done in 2 stages. First, you pay £30 for yourself and each additional applicant as a prepayment, plus £20 if you specify a date range. Once a slot is booked, you’ll need to pay an additional £100 for yourself and £70 per extra applicant.

For TLS: The full amount is paid upfront: £200 for yourself and £100 for each additional applicant. The price is higher due to the higher visa center fee at TLS.

Question 15

What if the booked date doesn’t suit me?

Accepted Answer

If the assigned date doesn't work for you, you can simply not pay for it. However, the prepayment is non-refundable because the bot already used it to cover the visa center’s booking fee. The bot will also not be able to book a different date. If you still need a slot, you’ll need to start a new subscription.

Question 16

Where do I get the OTP code?

Accepted Answer

The OTP is sent to our system’s email. Before your next login attempt to the VFS site, please inform our support team so we can provide you with the code. It is only valid for 3–5 minutes after the login attempt.

Question 17

How can I change the country I subscribed to?

Accepted Answer

Just contact our support team and we’ll gladly change the country or visa category for you.

Question 18

I subscribed 5 minutes ago and still haven’t received any notifications

Accepted Answer

Visa slots are not released every hour or even every day. Depending on the country, the first notification may take anywhere from 1 to 5 days to arrive.
