VisaBot is independent of VFS Global, BLS International and every embassy in Doha. Each appointment carries the applicant's own name, and the visa decision rests with the destination country's consulate.
Qatari citizens and foreign residents with a valid Qatar ID book a Schengen visa appointment in Doha, usually with the visa centre that handles their main destination. VisaBot follows those Doha calendars for 16 Schengen countries, 15 at VFS Global and Spain at BLS International, alerts you to new dates and, on VFS Global routes, books one in your name. The consulate alone decides on the visa.

Signed up with VisaBot after I couldnβt book an appointment at vfs London. Took VisaBot just over a week. Fantastic service π
Get instant email or push notifications when new appointments open up or get a slot auto-booked for you.

Pick a route and a category
Sign up on visabot.eu or in the VisaBot app for iOS or Android, then choose the destination and the visa category as the Doha centre lists it.
VisaBot watches VFS and BLS
The bot keeps checking the VFS Global calendar for your country, or the BLS International calendar for Spain, day and night, so nobody has to sit refreshing it.
An alert or a booked date
Notifications sends a push message, with email as an option, and you book the date. On VFS Global routes AutoBooking books a fitting date for your whole group.
VisaBot's coverage in Qatar sits in one city, Doha, and runs through two operators: VFS Global for 15 Schengen destinations and BLS International for Spain.
Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal and Switzerland, each with Notifications and AutoBooking.
Spain, with Notifications only: VisaBot alerts you to new BLS International dates in Doha, and you make the booking yourself on the BLS website.
Coverage changes as visa centres add or withdraw categories, and the booking form shows the current list. Italy has a VFS Global centre in Doha but is not on VisaBot's Qatar list, so Italian appointments get no alerts or AutoBooking.
VisaBot sells both plans on the 15 VFS Global routes from Qatar and Notifications only for Spain at BLS International, so the real choice is who books the date.
| Point of comparison | Notifications | AutoBooking (VFS Global) |
|---|---|---|
| Who makes the booking | You do, on the VFS Global or BLS International website, after a push alert or an optional email. | The bot does, on the VFS Global website, in the names of the applicants you added to the plan. |
| Routes from Qatar | All 16 destinations, Spain at BLS International included. | The 15 VFS Global destinations; Spain at BLS International is not included. |
| Best fit | You can stop what you are doing and book within minutes, with your VFS Global or BLS login ready. | Shifts, site visits or flights keep you away from your phone when new dates come out. |
| Applicants per plan | One subscription covers everyone on the application. | Up to five on most Doha routes, eight on the Netherlands and 20 on Croatia, with the price set per applicant. |
| What you provide | Destination, visa category and where the alerts should go. | Each applicant's passport and personal details, plus an optional date window at extra cost on every route except Portugal. |
| Payment and term | A single payment for 30 days, with no automatic renewal. | Two stages on VFS Global: a prepayment per applicant at sign-up, then the balance after a date is booked. |
If your rota rules out answering an alert at once, AutoBooking on a VFS Global route such as Germany or Portugal lets the bot book while you are at work.
Portugal's Doha route takes up to five applicants per AutoBooking plan, so a family of four fits on one subscription, priced per applicant.
Add applicants as in passports
Type every name and passport number exactly as printed, because the bot books with these details on the VFS Global website.
Prepay for each applicant
VFS Global routes are paid in two stages. The first payment per applicant is taken at sign-up and covers the visa centre's booking charge; the app shows the breakdown.
Set a date window if you need one
Every VFS Global route in Doha except Portugal accepts an optional date window at extra cost, so the bot skips dates that clash with your plans.
Login codes go to VisaBot
VFS Global's one-time login code arrives in VisaBot's system mailbox. To sign in to VFS Global yourself, ask support for the code, which stays valid for 3β5 minutes.
Booking first, balance second
Once a released date has room for the whole group, the bot books it. A payment link follows, and an appointment left unpaid for 48 hours is cancelled.
Attend the Doha centre
On the booked day each applicant brings the embassy's checklist to the VFS Global centre in Doha; most applicants submit in person and give fingerprints.
AutoBooking books one date per subscription and cannot promise even that: when VFS Global releases nothing that fits your group, nothing gets booked.
VisaBot cannot tell in advance when VFS Global or BLS International will open new dates in Doha, because releases follow no known pattern. New dates do not come out every day, so a few quiet days before the first alert are normal, and popular categories draw many applicants to each release.
Among Qatar residents who use VisaBot, Portugal is the most requested destination, followed by France and Switzerland. VFS Global's pages for Belgium and Hungary in Qatar warn that decisions can take longer in the summer months and the holiday season.
An appointment date is not a visa date. Under the Schengen Visa Code a consulate normally decides within 15 days, and the period can stretch to 45 days when it needs a closer look or extra documents. Germany's VFS Global page for Qatar also tells applicants to allow for waiting periods caused by the online appointment system.
A Schengen application can go in from six months up to 15 days before departure. A VisaBot subscription lasts 30 days, so start watching once your trip falls inside that window, and on VFS Global routes that offer a date window, set one that leaves the consulate time to decide.

Comprehensive route coverage across major countries and for most visa types.

Global presence across 50+ locations, making visa booking convenient anywhere.

Trusted payment processing with full encryption and buyer protection.

Dedicated customer service ready to help with any visa appointment questions.
Family members of EU or EEA citizens covered by the Free Movement Directive can, under certain conditions, use a free and faster visa procedure, and Doha routes such as Portugal, Switzerland and Cyprus list a separate category for them.
VisaBot is operated by TREVOR PHILIPS LTD, company number 14986978 at Companies House, England and Wales.
You book in Doha, online, with the visa centre that handles your main destination. Among the 16 countries VisaBot covers, VFS Global runs the appointments for Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal and Switzerland, and BLS International runs them for Spain.
An empty VFS Global calendar in Doha means no bookable date is open for your category when you look. Visa centres release new dates at unannounced times. VisaBot checks the calendar around the clock, sends an alert when a matching date appears and, with AutoBooking on VFS Global routes, books it for your group.
No. The Doha visa centres take Schengen applications from Qatari citizens and from foreign nationals legally resident in Qatar, in line with the EU rule that you apply where you legally live. Latvia's VFS Global page in Qatar tells visit-visa holders to apply from their country of residence, so a Doha subscription would not help them.
Yes, Qatari citizens still need a Schengen visa for short stays, because Qatar remains on the EU list of visa-required countries. The European Commission has proposed visa-free travel for Qatari passport holders, but a visa is needed until that change is adopted. Qatari citizens apply at the same Doha centres, and several embassies publish a separate checklist for them.
No, Italy is not part of VisaBot's Qatar coverage, even though VFS Global runs an Italy visa centre in Doha. Italian appointments from Qatar therefore get no alerts and no AutoBooking. If Italy is your main destination, book directly with the Italy visa centre in Doha.
No, the Spain route from Qatar runs through BLS International and has Notifications only. VisaBot sends an alert when BLS International opens a new date in Doha, and you then book it yourself on the BLS website. Keep your BLS account and applicant details ready, because released dates on busy routes go quickly.
Yes, AutoBooking can on the 15 VFS Global routes, and a single Notifications subscription covers every traveller on the application on any route. AutoBooking takes up to five applicants on most Doha routes, eight on the Netherlands and 20 on Croatia, priced per applicant. Each person needs an appointment of their own, so the bot waits for a release with places for the whole group.
Notifications cost from 100 QR a month, and one subscription covers every applicant on it. AutoBooking costs from 420 QR per applicant; the final amount depends on the visa centre's fee.
Notifications are not refunded once alerts have started. For AutoBooking, the initial fee can be refunded if VisaBot has not booked an appointment for your destination and visa type within a reasonable time frame of no less than 14 calendar days from when your application becomes fully active; up to 10% may be kept to cover administrative costs. The charge paid after a successful booking is not refundable. Full terms: Refund Policy.
PortugalChoose the destination and visa category, pick a plan, and your iOS or Android app tells you when a matching date opens at VFS Global or BLS International in Doha.
